The Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) extends its heartfelt sympathies to the government and people of Borno State on the recent devastating flood that ravaged the city of Maiduguri. We at ANA are deeply saddened by the destruction of lives and property caused by the heavy rainfall and the collapsed dam September 9-10, 2024.
Our thoughts and prayers are with those directly affected by this unprecedented flood as well as the millions displaced from their homes and farmlands. May you all find strength and resilience to stay strong in face of this disaster.
